About the Artists
Artist Nancy Nardone of Red Barn Pottery, located in Vermont, works out of her little red barn hand-building nature-inspired pottery. These little dishes can be repurposed for a little of this or a little of that such as a pat of butter or a tea bag or another Hudson Hives candle. I met Nancy a few years ago at a Vermont maple syrup tour and have been a fan of her pottery ever since. Please visit her website to check out her amazing work.
Artist Jane Parker of Stratton Hill Pottery located in Hudson, MA, works out of her house handcrafting functional pottery made from the heart. Check out her etsy store.
Instructions
Make sure when you first light the candle you burn the wax completely across the surface before blowing out to prevent tunneling. Trim the wick often. When burned in a draft free environment with the wick trimmed to 1/4" a beeswax candle will burn bright and clean with virtually no smoke or soot. Place candle on a fireproof candle dish and never leave unattended.
